Oyster mushrooms
Edible mushrooms with universal use for ready-to-eat meals, pickling in vinegar or drying. They make an excellent ingredient for soups and sauces, and taste great both preserved in various pickles and in combinations with vegetables. Usually only the cap is eaten, but the solid stem can be dried and ground into mushroom powder, which can be used as an aromatic mushroom spice. They are also delicious when smoke-dried.
